Accounting that speaks creator
Every income stream, one clear picture
AdSense, Twitch subs and bits, TikTok Creator Rewards, brand deals, affiliate links, Patreon, merch, licensing. Creator income arrives from ten places in three currencies, on different dates, with different paperwork. We build a bookkeeping system that pulls it into one clear monthly picture, so you always know what you actually earned.
Claim everything you are entitled to
Cameras, lighting, editing software, the corner of your flat that became a studio, travel to shoots, props that died for the content. Creators routinely under-claim because nobody told them what counts. We go through your spending line by line and make sure every legitimate expense reduces your bill.
Get your US withholding tax back
YouTube and other US platforms withhold tax at up to 30 percent unless your treaty paperwork is right. A correctly completed W-8BEN normally brings the rate on your US earnings right down under the UK treaty. We sort the forms and reclaim what has already been overheld where possible.
From side hustle to studio
Under £1,000 a year and the trading allowance may cover you. Beyond it, you register with HMRC as self-employed, and at some point a limited company starts saving you real money. Approach the VAT threshold and timing becomes critical. We tell you when each line is coming and get you across it cleanly.
How it works
- Talk to us. A free, no-obligation consultation, by video call or email, where we learn about your situation and you learn exactly what we would do differently.
- Get your fixed quote. One monthly fee, agreed in writing before any work starts. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
- We handle the switch. We contact your previous accountant, collect your records, sort HMRC authorisations and set up your cloud software. You barely lift a finger.
- Relax all year. Deadlines tracked, filings made, and proactive advice before each year end, not after it is too late.
Why Strategic Ridge

Frequently asked questions
Are gifted products and PR packages taxable?
Often yes. If a product arrives in exchange for coverage, its value is generally taxable income at market rate. Unsolicited freebies with no strings are different. We help you draw the line and keep the evidence that supports it.
When do I need to tell HMRC about my earnings?
Once your gross income from self-employment passes £1,000 in a tax year you normally need to register for Self Assessment. Register late and penalties accrue even if you owe little tax, so it pays to get ahead of it.
Should I set up a limited company?
It depends on your profit, your other income and how much you need to withdraw to live on. A company brings lower headline rates but more admin and dividend tax on extraction. We run your numbers both ways and reassess every year as your channel grows.
My income is wildly unpredictable. Does that break fixed fees?
No. Your fee is based on the work involved, not on how well a video performed. Viral month or quiet quarter, the fee stays the same and your accountant stays the same.
